Introducing Amplify Care: same mission with a new name and an even bigger impact
On behalf of the entire team, I am thrilled to announce the launch of our rebrand: Amplify Care. This new identity reflects the evolution of our organization, marking a significant milestone in our journey to transform healthcare delivery by continuing to amplify the clinician voice.
For over a decade, we’ve been committed to improving healthcare by listening to clinicians and patients and implementing innovative solutions that improve care. What began with a few staff members as the eHealth Centre of Excellence in 2014, has grown into a national organization supporting jurisdictions across the country. We are a trusted partner for healthcare professionals and organizations, offering a range of capabilities that simplify workflows, reduce administrative burdens, improve population health management, and ultimately improve patient outcomes. As we’ve evolved, so has our vision of amplifying the support we provide to clinicians, ensuring they have the tools and resources they need to deliver high-quality care to communities across Canada, each with its own unique needs.
Why the Rebrand?
The decision to change our name wasn’t one we took lightly. Our new name – Amplify Care – is not just a shift in branding; it’s a reflection of who we are, what we do, and where we’re headed.
Over the years, we’ve grown and evolved alongside the healthcare system, continuously adapting to meet the changing needs of clinicians and patients. As digital health has expanded and transformed, so too have we and we found that we were stretching beyond the limits of our original name. Although we remain as committed as ever to the excellence that defined our past, we needed a name that could move and grow with us, one that better reflects both our present and our future in an ever-evolving digital healthcare landscape.
At its core, Amplify Care is about amplifying the work that clinicians do by ensuring we have a more efficient healthcare ecosystem that’s connected, integrated, responsive and focused on improving experiences – for both clinicians and patients – at every step of the journey.
What Does Amplify Care Mean?
Amplify Care is more than just a name; it’s a promise to continue providing and supporting healthcare professionals with digital health solutions that work for them and their patients.
We’re focused on:
- Amplifying Clinician Voices: As a clinician-led organization, we deeply respect the work healthcare professionals do. Our goal is to amplify their voices by providing them with the tools and support they need, all while reducing administrative burden and pain points in their workflows.
- Putting Patients at the Centre: We believe that every patient deserves an accessible and seamless healthcare journey. Our services empower clinicians with digital heath tools that enhance care delivery at every step, support them with what they need to enhance clinical pathways and improve patient outcomes.
- Evidence-Driven Impact: We’re committed to grounding our work in evidence. We continuously evaluate digital health tools to ensure they have a measurable, positive impact on patient care and clinician workflows. And if they don’t…we find something that will.
What Went Into the New Brand?
This rebranding was not an overnight decision; it’s been a thoughtful and strategic process that took well over a year of collaboration and hard work. It started with listening to clinicians, patients, health care organizations, funders, our staff, and our system partners. Then we carefully selected branding and digital marketing experts (thank you Stryve Digital Marketing!) and explored concepts and then over 600 potential names.
Here’s a glimpse into the process that led to the launch of Amplify Care:
- Name Selection: After extensive brainstorming and nine rounds of pitching, we landed on the name Amplify Care, which best embodies our mission to elevate healthcare through amplifying the clinician voice.
- Logo & Brand Design: We worked through multiple mood boards, logos, and brand concepts, ultimately choosing elements that resonate with our values of respect, communication, empowerment. Our logo is a combination of a speech bubble which reflects the clinician voice, connected element of a circle to show collaboration and teamwork, and a lower case “a” to reflect our new name.
- Website & Collateral: We designed a clinician-friendly website and updated our marketing materials to reflect the new brand identity. Every piece was carefully crafted to ensure it’s accessible, professional, and easy to navigate.
This process has been demonstrative of our dedication to what we do and who we are, and we’re incredibly proud of the result.
Looking Ahead
This rebrand marks just the beginning of an exciting new chapter for Amplify Care. We’re passionate about helping build a better healthcare experience for clinicians and patients alike. Our team is focused on continuing to innovate at the front line, build partnerships, and develop solutions that drive real impact.
We’re excited about what the future holds and can’t wait to continue amplifying care for healthcare professionals and patients across Canada.
