eFax through Ocean eReferral
eFax is a solution that enables existing Ocean eReferral senders to submit referrals to receiving specialists who are yet to adopt the eReferral solution, by converting the eReferral into a fax.
- eFax senders experienced the benefits of the eReferral solution while still being able to send to receivers who are not using eReferral
- The purpose of this POC was to validate the ability of the eFax platform, integrated with Ocean and to support a migration away from fax-based referrals
- 77% of eFax senders were satisfied with the ability to send an eFax through eReferral
- Overall, eFax receivers’ workflows were not interrupted or negatively impacted by the eFax POC
